About 100 adults and children attended the movie "Happy Feet" on Sunday, March 11, 2007 to help raise funds for Daubenspeck Community Nature Park. There was especially good turn-out from North Willow Farms and Williston Green neighborhoods. Everyone got free prizes and enjoyed the Oscar-winning movie.

The Greenbriar Cinema Grill generously donated proceeds from the ticket sales, and 100% of silent auction monies went to the park as well. There were many different kinds of items up for bid -- children's fashion items, a new Dell computer printer/scanner/copier, DVD movies, a new designer pedestal sink w/brushed nickel hardware, restaurant gift certificates, and more. Most items were donated by non-profit Asset Recycling, 701 Holt Rd. in Indianapolis. Other donors included Chick-fil-A, CiCi's Pizza, King Kabob, Trader Joe's, and Sybaris.

Thank you to all our donors, to our host Greenbriar Cinema Grill, to our board members and spouses who made the event run smoothly, and, last but not least, to all of you who came and bid and enjoyed the movie!
