To maintain natural space and habitat, it is very important to minimize human impact. These rules are for your safety, to protect the hard work of hundreds of volunteers, and to preserve the park for all to enjoy.

• Take trash and recylcables away with you.
• Pick up pet waste and take it with you for the health of other humans and animals.
• Pets must remain leashed as per City ordinance.
• There are no restrooms so plan to use facilities elsewhere.
• Do not take flowers, plants, or wildlife, or gather firewood, as per City ordinance.
• Do not leave animals or plants at the park. Please see our Species Policy.
• Stay on the trails to avoid damage to wildlife, nesting birds, and flowers.
• Do not walk in wetlands or walk/skate on frozen ice.
• Not permitted: fires/smoking, alcohol, weapons/hunting, illegal/toxic substances, camping.
• Only official park maintenance vehicles are permitted beyond the parking lot.
• Loud sounds are prohibited so that all may enjoy the park in peace.
