Patti Tehan lives adjacent to the nature park, and works as for the
University of Indianapolis. She enjoys time with family (Bruce is her
husband, they have two grown daughters) and loves to share the park
with grandson, Charlie. She is a big fan of education and was very
involved with PTO when her daughters attended North Central H.S. Her
professional experience as a fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters and
Riley Children's Foundation has helped her efforts to raise funds for the
park. Patti especially loves to encourage individuals to consider
including Daubenspeck Park in their estate plans to ensure the future of
the outdoor space.
Bruce Tehan and wife Patti have lived in the North
Willow Farms neighborhood for 26 years and
appreciate the neighborhood and park. Bruce and
their daughters are North Central High School
graduates. Over the years, they have appreciated
the wildlife in their backyard and have enjoyed
sightings including: woodchuck, deer, fox, hawks
and several other bird species. As a commercial
print sales representative, Bruce has an interest in
environmental issues and recycling (especially
paper!). He is inspired by the many individuals
and groups who volunteer to enhance the park.
