Awards and Recognition
The park is free to the public and open dawn to dusk (including the parking area) year
round.  "When it's dark, please leave the park."

To maintain this natural space and habitat, please be gentle with the park. These rules
are for your safety, to protect the hard work of hundreds of volunteers, and to preserve
the park for all to enjoy.

Take trash and recycling away with you.
Take pet waste with you for the health of other humans and animals.
Keep pets on leash per City ordinance.
Stay on the trails to avoid damage to wildlife, nesting birds, and flowers.
Do not take flowers, plants, or wildlife, or gather firewood, per City ordinance.
Do not leave animals or plants at the park.  See our Native Species Policy.
Do not walk in wetlands or venture onto frozen ice.
The following are not permitted:
smoking
alcohol or glass containers
fires or fireworks
hunting or weapons (including toy weapons)
camping
illegal or toxic substances
loud noises
Vehicles, including dirt bikes, are not allowed beyond the entrances to the park.
Only official park maintenance vehicles are permitted.

Remember, "Take only pictures; leave only footprints."
