Earth Day Planting Success!

The 'Earth Day' planting was moved up this year to work with the local Kiwanis and their 'One Day' service opportunity. It was a very successful day with great weather and twice as many people as we expected, includeing a whole bunch of Kiwanis volunteers (and their camera crew) and hardworking IUPUI students..

We planted hundreds of wildflower plugs near the south wetland bench/mound, picked up trash, re-pounded the loose trail stakes, removed honeysuckle, fixed up the north wetland, and planted close to 100 trees.
