Daubenspeck Community Nature Park is a 501-c3 and is 100% volunteer-run. That includes the park's board members.

The Board of Directors for the park consists of dedicated volunteers who are elected by the membership. Board meetings are at least quarterly, with committee meetings as needed. Committees include Communications, Finance, Program, Volunteers/ Members, Executive/Board Development, and Legal ad hoc. Officers are President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Board members are expected to attend meetings, donate to support the organization, and work to promote the park and its mission. Nominations for the Board of Directors may be made by any member in good standing. Candidates who live or primarily work in Washington Township are encouraged to run, but you do not have to live in the neighborhoods surrounding the park, or even nearby.   If you’re interested in being a candidate to serve as a board member and have an interest in nature, we would love to hear from you.
