You are cordially invited to join the Board of Directors for the Daubenspeck Community Nature Park’s 20th Anniversary Open House!
The open house is at the North Willow Farms Clubhouse from 2:00-5:00 with remarks from the Board at 3:00 and a special visit from a raptor at 3:45!
Come learn about your park’s inspiring origin story and its transformation from a grassy field to a rare urban green space with 22 acres of prairie, forest, and wetlands. The environmental impact is evident by the countless native plants and animals that have been observed in the park that did not previously exist there. The park is now connected by trails, boardwalks, bridges, and an observation deck with educational signage throughout. The park regularly hosts free programs that are open to all to learn about the local flora and fauna.
