About the event
Come join us for a night by the blacklights to catch a glimpse of the incredible nightlife here at Daubenspeck. Learn about the sophisticated nocturnal adaptations of our local insects, and be the first to record all sorts of beautiful adult moths that call Daubenspeck home.
We will meet in the parking lot at dusk around 9:45 PM. Bug spray and adequate clothing is recommended due to the abundance of ticks this time of year, as well as a headlamp for safely moving around and spotting critters along the trails. Feel free to bring a camping chair if you plan on getting comfy!
Registration is not required. This event is free and open to the public. All are welcome.
